Measuring instructions

What you will need:
• Measuring tape for construction
• Paper and pen or a phone for taking notes.

1. Measure the width of the window frame (W)

  • Make sure there is at least 38 mm of free space on both sides of the window frame.
  • Measure the internal width (W) of the window light well as shown in the illustrations.
  • Measure each corner vertically and horizantally if window is large.
  • Record the precise measurement in millimeters.

2. Measure the height of the window frame (H)

  • Make sure there is at least 38 mm of free space at the top and bottom of the window frame.
  • Measure the internal height (H) of the window light well as shown in the illustrations.
  • Record the measurement in millimeters.

3. Measure the thickness (T) of the window frame.

  • Measure the thickness (T) of the window frame as shown in the pictures.
  • If the window has a sealing rubber, it should be pressed very lightly during measurement.
  • Record the measurement in millimeters.

4. Enter measurements in the order

Enter the measured internal width (W), height (H), and thickness (T) of the window opening in millimeters in the e-store order form.

Important!

  • All measurements must be taken and entered in millimeters.
  • Measure carefully and separately for each window, even if they look the same.
  • Do not replace the construction tape measure with a ruler or tailor’s tape measure.

Through the open window, place the mesh frame in the window opening
from the outside so that the brackets are on the inside.

Push the mesh into the window frame behind the plastic handles
until it fits tightly against the sealing rubber.

Attach the mosquito net to the frame with four
brackets, turning them 90° in sequence.

The mosquito net is installed. Enjoy fresh air and silence.

Most suitable locations for installation

Window insect screens in frames are designed for windows that open inward. The screen is ”hung” on the outside of the window frame. Most often, screens are installed on windows in rooms that need to be ventilated frequently, but where it is not necessary to use the window, for example, to hand things in or take things out, or to water flowers. It is advisable that the window on which this screen is installed is not located in a place where people will not notice it and accidentally damage it, as insect screens cannot withstand physical stress, impacts, etc.

Cleaning

Over time, insect screens accumulate dust and dirt on their surface. The best thing to do is to clean them regularly with a vacuum cleaner. To clean the screen of other dirt, it is best to use a garden hose. Remove the screen, place it in the bathtub or shower and rinse it. If you have space outside, place it on the lawn or a hard surface, taking care to keep it away from dirt, and rinse it with a hose.
By cleaning the screen regularly, it will look good and you won’t have to clean stuck-on dirt. If dirt is stuck, use a sponge or soft brush to clean the insect screen. If necessary, use soapy water. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.

Removal

The screen frame is easy to remove from the window if you need to clean it or want to take it down for the winter season – simply pull it up and remove it from the window frame.
